Stars shine at annual White House football banquet
The White House High School 2007 Football Banquet was held on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008, at the WHHS cafeteria. The team honored seniors Adam Wiss and Rogers Gaines as permanent team captains, and Wiss was named the Most Valuable Player for his role as the leader on defense at linebacker. He ended his career with 253 tackles. A recap will be coming this weekend. Postseason honors begin rolling in for Blue Devils
White House senior left tackle Rogers Gaines finished as one of three finalists for the Tennessee Titans Class 3-A Mr. Football Award (lineman). Since the banquet, a number of other postseason honors have begun to roll in for the Blue Devils including the All-Region 4-3A team, the Tennessean All-Midstate team, The News Examiner All-County team and the Tennessee Football Coaches Association All-State team.
